Generation Z icon, Azahriah is coming to Uprising Festival!

The biggest contemporary Hungarian star Azahriah, a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who in less than two years managed to completely change the view of Hungarian pop music, is heading to Bratislava’s Golden Sands. The rise of this Gen Z music icon is the ultimate 21st century story. His debut concert in Puskás Arena with a capacity of 67,000 people was sold out in one day. This is absolutely unprecedented in Hungarian musical history. No Hungarian musician before him had ever sold out this stadium. Azahriah did it three times and three days in a row. His European tour is also worth mentioning, on which he sold out all 10 concerts (from Berlin to London).

Azahriah started his career as a YouTuber. Already at the age of twelve, he created a YouTube channel and filmed videos with mysterious and paranormal themes. These became more and more popular until Azahriah became one of the most famous content creators in Hungary. After this success, he started making music, sound engineering and recording his first demos or writing his first lyrics. He gained his popularity among music fans mainly due to his unique musical style, energetic performances and charisma. He quickly worked his way up to the biggest stages and festivals such as Sziget, Nova Rock, and Exit Festival. Azahriah is currently the most streamed music artist in Hungary. His work is influenced by reggae, trap, hip-hop, and Afrobeats, which he combines with old-school Hungarian classics and the most modern pop music.

This phenomenal Hungarian musician will visit Bratislava for the first time and thus complete the rich program of the Uprising festival, which will be held on August 30 and 31 at Zlate pieskys in Bratislava. One of the best current reggae artists Alborosie, stars of the drum and bass scene Sigma and Black Sun Empire, viral phenomenon Venjent, energetic Balkan band Dubioza Kolektiv, Jamaican reggae icons The Congos and Jesse Royal, or cult electro-world music group Transglobal Underground will also perform there.
