Queen Omega, General Levy, and Manudigital have been added to the lineup of Uprising Festival 2025
Queen Omega, the Trinidadian singer with a unique and powerful voice, and a prominent figure on the international reggae scene, is heading to Bratislava in 2025. Last year, she achieved worldwide fame with her hit ‘No Love Dubplate’ over the legendary Next Episode riddim, which has garnered over 200 million streams and recognition from Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. At Uprising, she will perform her latest album, Freedom Legacy, together with her house band The Royal Souls.
Booyaka, booyaka! Does that sound familiar? This iconic chant comes straight from the song ‘Incredible’, which General Levy recorded with M-Beat in 1994. It was made famous worldwide by actor Sacha Baron Cohen in the comedy Ali G Indahouse and is now one of the biggest jungle anthems of all time. General Levy will bring a massive dose of ragga and jungle vibes to Uprising Festival. He has been on the scene for over 40 years and is still one of the most in-demand MCs. We’re talking about a true legend of the UK urban music scene.
Among the first names announced for the eighteenth edition of the Uprising Festival is Manudigital, a French producer, musician, and multi-instrumentalist known for his combination of digital reggae, dub, and modern electronic elements. Dub music lovers will also be thrilled. Making their Slovak debut is Omega Nebula, an energetic electronic future-dub duo that combines dub reggae and dubstep into emotional and powerful anthems with a unique sound. This multi-talented pair delivers electrifying live performances full of deep bass, live instrumentation, and captivating vocals that unite generations of dub fans.
