Biga* Ranx

Young French ragga dub prodigy BIGA*RANX was with a headstart from its debuts with his first sound systems at 13 years old. Influenced by Jamaican culture he wasn’t just listening his favourite artists (SUPER CAT, ALTON ELLIS, VYBZ KARTEL) and went early on the reggae earth to record his first tracks. He discovered the big American hip-hop productions that he added to its productions and started to play on sound systems with the one he created with his brother: BANDALERO SOUND SYSTEM, and with the collective ONDUBGROUND.

In London he improved his English and discovered the rich UK underground electro scene falling in love with drum’n’bass and dubstep. Increasingly musically open his compositions had taken a brand-new air of modern sound! His meeting with JOSEPH COTTON gave the Ranx pseudonym to the young Biga and turned him into the front of the music scene. Their collaboration “Air France Anthem” made the buzz and crossed the French frontlines permitting him to play internationally from Rome to Montréal, Madrid, Copenhagen or Lisbon.

Under Telly name he successfully started to beatmaking and cross a new step in its experimentations. With his last album “1988” released in June 2017 it’s a new style which born and that BIGA*RANX named vapour reggae. Quieter digital psychedelic and cloudy BIGA*RANX universe is totally new and will captive you. “Liquid Sunshine” track is played on FRANCE INTER (very famous French national radio) and reach the 2 million views on Youtube.
