Safety regulations of the organisers
- It is absolutely restricted to bring to any area of the festival site the following items: glass containers, glass bottles, umbrellas, containers under pressure, pyrotechnical equipment, weapons of any kind and items that threaten the security of festival goers.
- Entry into the camp with car and motor vehicles is restricted.
- There will be an increased amount of police squads that will oversee your safety.
- It is restricted to start a fire anywhere at the venue.
- In case of evacuation of the festival area, we ask the visitors to respect and follow the instructions of police officers, organizers, and to follow the visual signs, which will be put in the festival and its surroundings.
The evacuation area is the underground garage of the shopping mall STYLA nearby the festival, next to OC PALACE (Shopping Mall).
System of the wristbands control
We are using the system of wristbands control at the entry and exit from the festival area.
After the display of the valid ticket to the festival staff, the ticket will be exchanged for an identification wristband with unique QR code. The visitor will have checked their wristband at the gates (both entry and exit). If the system finds twice after each other only entry or only exit, the organizers have the right not to let the visitor in. This system ensures a better control of the area. We ask you not to purchase the wristbands from anyone and thus prevent any problems.
Other
The festival premises are open in the following times: on Friday 30/8 from 12:00 PM to 05:00 AM, on Saturday 31/8 from 10:30 AM to 04:00 AM. After the finish of the program each day, we ask our visitors to leave the festival premises (not area of Zlate Piesky). Festival officially end on Sunday 1/9 at 04:00 AM in the morning.
During the festival, the visitors can go in and out of the premises with a valid wristband and QR code. The festival wristband is not transferable and we suggest you not to remove the wristband from your hand, as you might not be able to get back to the festival premises again.
At the entrance, as well as inside the premises, visitors will receive leaflets with a map and programme of the events. You can visit the Uprising Shop, where you can get all necessary information or you can buy Uprising merch and souvenirs here. Emergency service and fire brigade will be at you disposal inside the premises too – please check for their standpoints in the map given.

Camp
Accommodation Information for Uprising Festival 2024
Visitors to the Uprising festival have the opportunity to camp in two different campsites. The main one is the campsite managed by STaRZ, the second is the Tent inn with prepared tents managed by the festival.
Due to capacity, visitors who do not have a purchased ticket cannot enter the Tent inn camp.
Tent inn residents can enter the STaRZ camp.
There will also be a non-stop zone that will be accessible to all visitors during the entire duration of the festival and where they can meet.
Visitors who have not purchased entry to the campsites can move around the festival grounds and in the non-stop zone.

Parking
Reserve your car or caravan parking at this year’s Uprising Festival and start counting down the days to the 17th edition! The parking lot is not equipped with electrical connections. Water and sewage connections are not available in the parking lot.

There is a limited parking space at the festival surroundings. It is possible to park near Shopping Palace shopping centre, but it is highly recommended to use another transport options.
Hygiene
Chemical toilets will be at disposal inside the premises. They will be cleaned regularly. The camping area includes sinks, showers with hot waters and flush toilets. Several drink water fountains can be found in the premises (you can find them in the map of the festival premises).
Prohibitions
It is forbidden to bring the following items inside the premises: – Glass and plastic bottles – Cans – Explosive material – Dangerous objects – Drugs and psychotropic substances – Flammables – Weapons of any kind. It is also forbidden to bring: – Recorders, film cameras, video cameras and Professional cameras (you may bring small personal cameras and mobile phones). You may bring food and drinks into the camp.
For safety reasons, visitors will have to undergo a safety check at the entrance to the festival, which will be carried out by a security service. It is necessary for the safety of all of us. Thank you for your understanding.
The festival premises are not an ideal, nor comfortable or safe for dogs, which is why they are not allowed inside.
Photo & Video
Photographing concerts and other shows is allowed only for the accredited reporters at the festival site. Non-professional automatic cameras are tolerated, it’s forbidden to use camera flash near stages. All visitors agree with a usage of their pictures or other record of their person in any technical postproduction for future festival promotion.
Recording video (movie, DV , DV Cam, Beta…) is forbidden at the festival site – the only exception are accredited film and TV crews.
Eating & Drinking
All alcoholic drinks or non-alcoholic drinks in glass bottles or cans are banned at the festival site. There will be sufficient number of gastro booths with a full selection of food (vegetarian and vegan options too) and drinks. They will be in distributed in several gastro zones. Therefore, it’s not necessary to bring your own refreshments.
We are using reusable plastic cups for all drinks. Deposit for a cup is 2€. Used cups can be replaced by buying new drink or return them at the collection stations (next to every drink center). Visitors will get back 2€ for used cup if it’s not damaged. Used cups won’t be cleaned at the festival site, they will be transported to special cleaning line.
Drugs
Drugs are forbidden at the festival site. Their sell or consumation is illegal and we inform you that situation will be monitored by police.
Water area / Swimming
Swimming is only at your own risk! On the natural lake at Zlate piesky, professional lifeguards will be watching over and ensuring the safety when swimming. There will be safety guards at the water and shore, with non stop squads. In case you are near the water, check your surroundings and people near you. If you see someone in danger, immediately contact the lifeguards or the security service.
Drink plenty of water and avoid direct sunlight. Do not enter the water under the influence of alcohol and substances and please, take care of your friends. The places on the beach, where the watch of lifeguards is not possible, will be closed by a fence during the festival and it is strictly forbidden to enter that area.
After the sun sets the entry to the water will be closed by a fence, which will be controlled by the security service. This way we want to ask you not to enter the lake after the sun sets. In case of any complications or injuries, the organizer is not responsible.

During the festival, the visitors can go in and out of the premises with a valid wristband and QR code. Others
- The line-up and date change is reserved. Paid entrance fees are non-refundable; tickets are non-refundable and are not subject to replacement.
- The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, and in such a case to reimburse the price of tickets.
- The tickets are at the entry replaced by festival visitor identification – fabric wristbands. The organiser is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of identification. The organizer is entitled to carry out a personal check at any point. If a visitor does not have the wristband or this is damaged, the organising service will escort them from the festival site and they will be asked to compensate the damage.
- All visitor identification – fabric wristbands are the property of the organiser until the end of the festival.
- The organiser is not be liable for any personal damage, loss, or injury incurred at the event if they were caused by the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other visitors and others.
- Crowd surfing and stage diving is strictly prohibited at the festival. Violation of the prohibition is the reason for escorting you from the site and removal of your identification wristband with no refunds.
- Entry to the festival stage and backstage is prohibited for visitors. Violation of the prohibition is the reason for being escorted from the site and removal of your identification wristband with no refunds.
- Camping outside the designated tent camps is strictly prohibited.
- Festival visitor acknowledges and explicitly agrees that the photographs, films or videos of him or her made during or in connection with the festival may be used with any present or future technical method, without any financial compensation and with no time limitations. The documenting of the festival and the subsequent processing of materials for promotional and marketing purposes is a legitimate interest of the festival organiser and its partners as well.
- It is strictly forbidden to bring glass containers, pressurised containers, pyrotechnic articles, glass bottles, umbrellas, objects dangerous for visitors, and weapons of any kind to the festival site and to start an open fire.
- It is strictly forbidden to ride motorcycles, bicycles, skateboards, longboards, rollerblades, scooters and similar means. It is also forbidden to use drones. In case of violation of this prohibition, the means will be confiscated until the end of the festival.
- It is not allowed to bring into the festival site any recorders, megaphones, film and video cameras or professional cameras. Making sound, film, photographic or video records of the performances of the performers and other parts of the programme is strictly forbidden, even for personal use.
- Persons entering the area may be searched.
- In all tents and objects at the festival site, smoking is forbidden.
- The organiser reserves the right to decide whether animals can be admitted into the festival grounds, with the exception of guide dogs.
- The sale of any kind and other commercial activities without the knowledge and prior consent of the organiser in the festival site is strictly forbidden.
- If a visitor refuses to issue a dangerous or prohibited article or violates these conditions, they can be escorted from the site.
- Please use bins according to their marking.
- To protect your own safety and the safety of other visitors, please behave responsibly. The violation of any prohibition may be reason for your being escorted from the site and removal of your identification wristband with no refunds.
- We inform visitors that the festival area is monitored by CCTV.
- Warning: Excessive exposure to loud music may cause hearing damage.
